Regional Chamber of Economy Niš Regional Chamber of Economy Niš covers the area of 7867km2 in the southeast part of Serbia and encompasses three districts - Nišava, Pirot and Toplica - with around 650.000 inhabitants in 787 populated towns and villages.
The seat of the Regional Chamber of Economy Niš is in the City of Niš, the second biggest city in Serbia and a big industrial, trade and University centre.
The Region of Niš is one of the biggest economic areas regarding large industrial textile, chemical, mechanical, tobacco and electronic industries. It is also well-known for its transport, tourist and catering companies.

Operational costs of the Regional Chamber of Economy Niš are financed from the membership fees of its members. The fees are paid based on the decision of the General Assembly of the Chamber. The rates are as follows: - banks and other finance organizations, insurance companies and funds - monthly fee 0,35% monthly
companies and company branches - monthly fee 0,29% companies up to 10 employees - annual fee of 4000 dinars
The basis for membership fee calculation is the gross salaries amount for employees and employer. The fee is paid alongside other contributions paid by the employer.
